Kelsey and Orlando’s Maine Wedding at the Bar Harbor Club

Sometimes you’re so perfect together that it’s literally love at first sight. And sometimes your love for one another grows so strong that you decide to get married twice. For Kelsey and Orlando, this has been their story. They first met a little over six years ago during their freshman year of college at a Valentine’s Day dance party. Cupid was working overtime, and these two have been inseparable ever since. They’ve been together through school, Covid lockdowns, new jobs, and several moves, so ain’t nothing gonna stop them now.

Although Kelsey and Orlando officially tied the knot last year during an intimate wedding ceremony, they wanted to host a full-blown wedding celebration so that all of their family and friends could join in the moment. Kelsey has been visiting Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park with her family every summer since she was born, and Orlando has been joining her for some time now. Bar Harbor is a special place for both of them, and it was only natural that they chose to get married there. As for venue, they picked one of our favorite spots – the Bar Harbor Club. The Club is a grand space built by the J.P. Morgan in the tudor style, with views of Frenchman Bay.

On their Unofficially Official wedding day (as Kelsey and Orlando call it), the weather was beautiful and the Bar Harbor Club was lovingly decorated with a sorts of stunning florals. You’d never know it wasn’t (technically) their first time getting married, because both Kelsey and Orlando were so excited all day long. They each got ready with the help of their respective families and wedding parties, and then they truly kicked things off with a first look in one of the Club’s gardens. Before long, they were recommitting themselves to a life of love and happiness with Bar Harbor’s iconic Porcupine Islands off in the distance.

The rest of the day was filled with all sorts of joy and excitement. The Club put on a fabulous dinner as always, and Plush kept the party flowing and the dance floor going. We had such a great time spending the day with Kelsey and Orlando and their amazing families and friends, and we wish them much happiness.
