Chloe and Nate’s Wedding at the Lucerne Inn in Dedham, Maine

Chloe and Nate first met six years ago in college, thanks to a few mutual friends. After spending the summer together, they soon became inseparable. The rest, as they say, is history! Just recently, these two were married on a gorgeous June day at the Lucerne Inn in Dedham, Maine. They were joined by their closest family and friends, and the whole day was filled with fun and joy.

Matt and I arrived early in the day to photograph Chloe and Nate getting ready. It was touching to see how close Chloe was to all her bridesmaids, especially her sisters, Chelsea and Caleigh. All day long, these wonderful ladies were full of hugs and smiles. It was obvious they were all very happy for Chloe. Nate was similarly surrounded by his cadre of groomsmen. They helped him get all tidied up (and they might have even helped him with his vows – but don’t tell Chloe).

Chloe’s Aunt officiated a lovely ceremony on the Inn’s upper lawn, near the gazebo. The sun was shining, and there was a slight breeze. You couldn’t have asked for better weather! More than once, the crowd erupted into fits of laughter, as no one could contain their happiness and excitement. After they were pronounced husband and wife, Chloe and Nate had such looks of joy on their faces. I’m not sure I’ve seen a happier couple!

After a few formal pictures, it was time for the reception. Family and friends had spent many hours helping to prepare the reception tent, and it showed. Each table had flowers, unique sculptures, and vintage teacups. Everywhere you looked, someone had paid attention to some little detail. Toasts were followed by dancing and cake cutting, and everyone had a great time celebrating together.

Matt and I really enjoyed our time with this wonderful couple, too. Chloe and Nate were such a joy to photograph, and it was a pleasure getting to meet their family and friends. Below are some of my favorite pictures from throughout their wedding. Enjoy!
