Amy and Sai’s Maine Wedding at the Bar Harbor Club

Join us in congratulating Amy and Sai! Amy has been visiting Bar Harbor since she was 10 years old, and she has dreamed of getting married in the area ever since. Her dreams came true this August when she and Sai tied the knot during a loving ceremony at the the Bar Harbor Club, overlooking Frenchman Bay.

Amy and Sai first met in 2019. They worked together at the same hospital, but really hit it off at a mutual friend’s housewarming party one night. They talked until 6:00am and have been inseperable ever since. In their spare time, they enjoy hiking, skiing, and taking road trips.

Sai proposed during one of their trips to Maine. Sai’s mother, Candela, was also visiting from Hong Kong, and Amy and Sai wanted to share with her the beauty of Acadia National Park. They all stopped off at a place along the Park Loop Road near a small waterfall, and Sai popped the question. Amy was surprised and happy, and she quickly said yes!

On their wedding day, Amy and Sai were so cute together. From their first look until late into the night, they were at each other’s sides laughing and smiling. Family and friends had traveled from all around the world to attend, and it was wonderful to see how much love everyone had for the newlyweds. The Bar Harbor Club did a fantastic job as always, from the accommodations to the food, and DJ Jim from Premier Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all evening.
