Say hello to Vian! Though she lives in Virginia, Vian and her family have been visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park every summer since she was little. With plans to attend college in Maine, it only made sense that when Vian started discussing where to have her senior portraits taken, Bar Harbor and Acadia were her top choices.
Since Vian and her mom, Michele, are so familiar with the Bar Harbor area, they already had some ideas for locations. After some discussion, they chose two spots: the Jesup Path near the Wild Gardens of Acadia and a scenic overlook along the Ocean Path near Otter Cliff in Acadia National Park. These locations would offer Vian two unique backdrops for her senior portrait session.
We began the session in the Wild Gardens of Acadia before making our way to the Jesup Path. It was a beautiful September evening, and I had a great time photographing Vian and getting to know both her and her mom. Afterward, we drove to a spot I love near Otter Cliff, just as the sun was beginning to set. It was the perfect way to end a wonderful evening.
I’m so grateful that Michele reached out to me, and it was truly a pleasure to photograph Vian. I’m excited to share a few of my favorite shots from her senior portrait session below. Enjoy!
