Meet the G. Family! They came from all over to spend a week together in Winter Harbor. When they last visited Maine (nearly four years ago), they had done an extended family portrait session. Since then, the kids had grown so much that it was time for updated portraits.
Anne and her family had rented a beautiful property in Winter Harbor overlooking the ocean. Since there were sixteen family members in total, they decided to do their family photo session on the property. We lucked out with a wonderful summer evening for their session. Since Matt and I both photograph family portraits, it’s a huge advantage when we do extended family sessions like Anne’s. That’s because after we’re done with the large group shots we can each take one of the families, work with them, and then switch. This means we can give families lots of variety in a short amount of time.
We had such a great time working with the G. Family! We’re so glad they reached out to update their portraits. We hope they enjoyed their time in Maine and that they visit again soon! I’ve included a few of our favorites photos from our time together below. Enjoy!
