Meet the S. family! Pat reached out to us because she and her entire family would be traveling from all over the country to Bar Harbor, Maine to celebrate her 70th birthday that summer. While everyone was together, it was important to her to schedule a family portrait session.
They were all staying at the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa, so she chose to keep the session on the property, which we fully agreed with. It made the evening much easier, especially with kids ranging from six months to ten years old. With no extra travel, everyone could stay relaxed and move at a comfortable pace, which always helps when working with younger children.
We had a beautiful evening for their session and found a great spot overlooking Frenchman Bay with plenty of room for the kids to take breaks when needed. Since this was their first time being photographed together as a full group, we began with Pat’s top priority, (the photo with everyone together) and then moved on to the smaller groupings she had requested. They did a wonderful job throughout the entire session.
It was a pleasure working with Pat and her family and being part of such a meaningful celebration. Photographing their first full family session during a milestone birthday weekend was truly an honor. We wish Pat and her family all the best and hope to see them again in Bar Harbor soon!
