Last September, we had the pleasure of photographing Rachel and Sean’s engagement session in Acadia National Park. Early on, Rachel shared that she wanted to do the shoot in the park since there wouldn’t be time for portraits there during their wedding at the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa the following summer.
We sent Rachel and Sean a list of our favorite spots, and they chose the Jesup Path near the Wild Gardens of Acadia and Otter Point. These two areas offer a great contrast, which made the session especially fun to plan.
The day of the shoot was beautiful. We started on the Jesup Path and wandered through the surrounding area, taking photos and chatting with Rachel and Sean about their wedding plans. They were a joy to photograph, constantly smiling at each other and clearly enjoying the moment.
After wrapping up at the Wild Gardens, we all drove to Otter Point to catch the sunset. We arrived just in time and continued shooting until the light faded. It was a great way to end their engagement session.
We’re looking forward to seeing Rachel and Sean again this August for their wedding at the Bar Harbor Inn & Spa. Until then, enjoy a few of our favorite images from their engagement session in Acadia National Park below.
