Last year, former wedding clients Ally and Jeremy reached out to us. They were married at the Bar Harbor Inn and Spa several years ago, and they were returning to Bar Harbor to celebrate their third wedding anniversary. This trip was especially meaningful, as they would be bringing their baby daughter, Lydia, to show her where Mommy and Daddy were married. To commemorate this special occasion, they wanted to schedule a family portrait session somewhere on the Maine coast. We were thrilled to hear from them and excited to photograph their growing family.
When discussing location options for their family portrait session, Ally mentioned wanting a backdrop like their wedding photos, which were taken on the rocky Maine coastline near the Bar Harbor Inn. We suggested a spot in Acadia National Park near the Ocean Path, offering a stunning view of Otter Cliff.
The day of their session was beautiful, and it was a joy to reconnect with Ally and Jeremy and meet little Lydia. We had a great time photographing their family and showing them one of our favorite spots in Acadia National Park. As wedding photographers, it’s always a special experience to see past clients and capture new moments in their lives.
It means so much to us to have had the privilege of photographing Ally and Jeremy during two major milestones in their lives. We wish them and their beautiful daughter all the best and hope to see them again in the future. Below are some of our favorite photos from their family portrait session in Acadia National Park!
