Travis and Abby’s Micro Wedding at 16 Bay View in Camden, Maine

Join us in congratulating Abby and Travis! Like so many couples this year, they had to call off their original wedding plans. But they didn’t let it get them down! Instead, they put together a lovely, intimate ceremony on the rooftop of 16 Bay View, a 21-room boutique hotel in the heart of Camden, Maine. There they were joined by their immediate families and their puppy, Murphy, who looked so dapper in his little doggy tuxedo.

Abby and Travis met way back in high school, but they were several years apart. Travis graduated and went off in his own direction, and Abby didn’t know whether they would ever reconnect. Eventually, however, their paths intertwined, and the rest, as they say, is history! These days, Abby and Travis like to travel and try new things. One of their favorite pastimes is visiting their favorite breweries.

Travis proposed during a vacation to Disney World, a place that both he and Abby love to visit. After a nice dinner, the two of them watched the fireworks and went for a walk along the beach. Before Abby knew what was happening, Travis got down on one knee and popped the question. Abby couldn’t believe it, and she eventually said yes once the initial shock and excitement wore off. They spent the next several hours snuggling, reflecting, and dreaming about the future.

October in Maine, the weather is always a little bit up in the air (no pun intended). However, Abby and Travis were blessed with a gorgeous day for their wedding. The sun was out, and it was relatively warm. As a result, we were able to take the happy couple all throughout Camden for pictures. We visited the harbor, the amphitheater, and the library in our travels. The whole time, Abby and Travis couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at one another. They were so much fun to photograph, and we had a great time spending the afternoon with them.
