Maura and Caleb’s Maine Micro Wedding at the Bar Harbor Inn

Join us in celebrating with Maura and Caleb! These two were married on a beautiful summer’s afternoon at the Bar Harbor Inn in Bar Harbor, Maine. Their vows capped four wonderful years together, which all began when they met during a night out with mutual friends.

Caleb proposed to Maura during a trip to Chicago. He told Maura a small fib, that he had to attend a conference in the city. He asked Maura if she would like to accompany him on the trip, and, once they arrived, the conference conveniently got “canceled.” This meant Caleb could spend the whole day with Maura. They had dinner reservations, and on the way to dinner Caleb kneeled and popped the question in front of the Clarence F. Buckingham Memorial Fountain. Maura had always wanted to get engaged in front of the fountain, and so Caleb had helped to make her dream come true. Maura, of course, said yes!

Maura and Caleb chose the Bar Harbor Inn for their wedding because they love Acadia and Mount Desert Island. Knowing that they wanted to keep their wedding small, the Inn’s Porcupine Room was the perfect spot for dinner and a bit of outdoor dancing with their family and friends. The happy couple said their vows on the Inn’s oceanfront Bayview Lawn during a loving ceremony officiated by Caleb’s aunt, Kate.

We had such a great time spending the day with this amazing couple and their wonderful guests. Maura and Caleb were so cute together, and it’s clear they love each other very much.
