Liz and Mike’s Wedding at 16 Bay View in Camden, Maine

Join us in congratulating Liz and Mike! You might remember them from their engagement session at Kettle Cove last fall. Just a few weeks ago, these two were married during a beautiful ceremony at the Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel in Camden, Maine. After weeks of cold, rainy weather, Liz and Mike were blessed with the first nice weekend of the spring season. The sun was shining and all of the Chapel’s gardens were in full bloom. You couldn’t have asked for more!

Even though Liz and Mike live in Boston, Maine has always held a special place in their hearts. So, there was little question they would eventually get married here. Last July, Mike planned a surprise getaway to Portland for the two of them, during which he proposed at Portland Head Lighthouse. The wildest part of the trip (aside from getting engaged, of course) was that they met Tim Tebow! Evidently, Tim was also visiting the lighthouse and had watched Mike propose. He was the first person to congratulate Liz and Mike, and they even got a picture with him. How cool is that?

Liz and Mike chose Camden both because they love Maine, and because they’re foodies. Camden is a great little town for food lovers. It’s no surprise, then, that Liz and Mike chose 16 Bay View for their reception. The boutique hotel, which sits right in the heart of Camden, has an amazing head chef. We can say this with confidence, because we’ve had her food! The hotel also has 360-degree views from its rooftop terrace (nicknamed the “View”), which is where Liz, Mike, and their guests spent a wonderful evening full of dancing and fun.

After dinner, we were able to steal Liz and Mike away from the celebration for pictures near the harbor and in the amphitheatre. They were so cute together, and they just couldn’t stop laughing and giggling with each other!

We had a great time photographing Liz and Mike’s wedding, and we wish them a world of happiness. They had a truly perfect day, and, from our perspective, we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off our 2019 wedding season! Below are some of our favorite pictures from throughout the day.
