Kaela and Mike’s Wedding at Grace on the Lake in Harmony, Maine

We’re excited to share pictures from Kaela and Mike’s wedding at Grace on the Lake in Harmony, Maine! From the beginning, Kaela and Mike knew they wanted to have a multi-day wedding bash. So they found the perfect venue way up in central Maine, situated on a beautiful lake with plenty of room for all their guests to stay.

Kaela and Mike are in the music scene (Mike is a house DJ), and they met when Kaela was selling tickets to a concert. Therefore, it was important that their wedding incorporate elements from their music life and their life in Brooklyn. To that end, Kaela and Mike rented a van so they could transport all sorts of unique and interesting furniture, decorations, and floral arrangements from back home, and they invited their friend Devon James to keep the music going all weekend. It was a uniquely fun and vibrant party, with everyone just so happy for Kaela and Mike.

Besides dancing and partying, Kaela and Mike enjoy hiking and exploring (Mike proposed to Kaela on top of a mountain in upstate New York after a beautiful weekend-long camping adventure). They also love spending time with their two cats and their adorable puppy, Lemons. Although the cats couldn’t make the journey to Maine, Lemons was there to celebrate with mom and dad (and ham it up for the camera). As dog lovers ourselves, we were more than happy to oblige Lemons in her fondness for pictures. She reminds us so much of our little red goldendoodle, Ellie!

All throughout the day, Kaela and Mike were incredibly cute together. It was clear they simply love being together and laughing and enjoying life. We had a really fun time photographing them and their special day, and we wish them all the happiness going forward!
