Chris and Jamie’s Sunday River Wedding at the Jordan Hotel

This past August, Chris and Jamie were married during a beautiful ceremony at the Jordan Terrace at Sunday River. Every year, these two visit the mountain to ski and snowboard, and they’ve made a lot of great memories at Sunday River over the years. It was only natural, therefore, to add to those memories by getting married at one of their favorite places.

Chris and Jamie first crossed paths while playing racquetball in college. Accidentally, Chris gave Jamie a black eye, and, as you might imagine, sparks didn’t fly right away. It wasn’t until two years later that they started dating, shortly after Jamie joined Chris’ ultimate frisbee team. Since then, the two of them have been inseparable, spending their free time doing all sorts of outdoor activities like paddle boarding, kayaking, bike riding, and, of course, skiing and snowboarding.

Like many of us, Chris and Jamie are Harry Potter fans, and Chris proposed in Diagon Alley during a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios. We’ve never been to the Harry Potter theme park ourselves, but we hope to visit in the future!

The weather was lovely for Chris and Jamie’s wedding. Despite a drought earlier in the season, the mountain was a lush, vibrant green come late August. It was the perfect backdrop, and Chris and Jamie looked so happy as they said their I-do’s surrounded by family and friends. The rest of the day was filled with food and dancing at Sliders Restaurant, a fun spot attached to the Jordan Hotel.

We had a great time photographing Chris and Jamie’s mountain wedding, and we wish them all the best in the future. Below are some of our favorite pictures from throughout their special day. Enjoy!
