Guerin and Alex’s Wedding at the Maine Maritime Museum

Join us in congratulating Guerin and Alex! They first started dating in high school and, after eight years together, finally tied the knot this past July at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, Maine.

In their spare time, Guerin and Alex like to swim, eat out, go on walks, and play Dungeons and Dragons with friends. They are very close and enjoy spending time together – so much so, in fact, that they picked out their engagement ring together (which we did too, by the way)!

Because they are both originally from Maine, Guerin and Alex decided it made the most sense to come back to the state to get married. They chose the Maine Maritime Museum both for its lovely views of the Kennebec River and its ability to host a large number of guests. We always enjoy photographing at the Museum, as they do a great job and treat our couples well.

The day started with Guerin getting ready at the Museum, while Alex got ready off site. The weather was beautiful, and before long guests were arriving for the big moment. Overlooking the water, Guerin and Alex were married by their close friend, Maggie. It was a lovely ceremony with more than a few tears of happiness.

It was important to Guerin and Alex that they put on a good party for their guests, so they brought in food trucks from Salty Dog BBQ and Crepe Elizabeth, as well as bartending services from Maine Mixologists. It’s always fun to have a food truck or two at a wedding, and we love crepes ourselves – so we had no complaints!

Food and mingling eventually gave way to a packed dance floor, as Guerin and Alex partied the night away with their family and friends. All throughout the day, we had such a great time photographing this amazing couple, and we’re so fortunate to have worked with them.
