While Emily and Travis weren’t married in Maine, they knew they wanted to do a post wedding session in Acadia National Park while they were on their Mini-Moon in Bar Harbor. I was quite excited when Emily first contacted me about the session. I love photographing in the park, and photographing a couple in their wedding attire without the constraints of a wedding day is even better! The session can be super relaxed, and we don’t have to worry about making anyone wait while we work with the couple. It’s a win-win for everyone!
Since neither of them had visited Acadia National Park before, we talked through some options for their post wedding photography session. They loved dramatic landscapes, so they decided on Jordan Pond, Cadillac Mountain, and the cliffs near Thunder Hole. When the day of their session arrived we couldn’t have asked for nicer weather. October can be a bit chilly on the coast, but we lucked out with a warm fall day.
Emily and Travis were amazing to work with! Not only were they up for whatever we asked, but they were so cute. It was easy to see how much they loved being together. I’m pretty sure they laughed and smiled through their complete photography session! They were constantly having park goers stopping to congratulate them because they thought they were just married. That’s how happy these two were!
