Emily and Miles’ Camden Maine Wedding at the Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel

Join us in congratulating Emily and Miles! They were married on a gorgeous fall afternoon at the Vesper Hill Children’s Chapel in Rockport, Maine. The sun was shining and the leaves had just started to change. It was a beautiful day for this wonderful couple to get married.

Though they live in Tulsa, the greater Camden area has special significance for Emily and Miles. It’s the place they visited on their first official trip as a couple, and it’s the place where Miles reaffirmed his engagement proposal to Emily. It was therefore only natural that they chose to tie the knot in this cozy little coastal Maine town.

Emily and Miles met at flight school, where Miles was an instructor and Emily was a student. Miles eventually left to work for the airlines, and three years later they reconnected. They have been inseperable ever since. In their spare time, they enjoy traveling and visiting estate sales.

On their wedding day, Emily and Miles were joined by their family and friends. The Chapel was full of love and excitement as Emily and Miles said their vows, and Anna Brooke led the nicest and most heartfelt ceremony. Once everything was official, we took pictures of the happy couple around the Chapel’s nicely manicured grounds before heading to Laite Memorial Beach for a few final formals. Then, it was time for dinner! Emily, Miles, and their guests reconvened at Natalie’s Restaurant in Camden for a deliciious evening filled with all manner of lobster-inspired plates.

We really enjoyed our time with Emily and Miles, and we’re so glad they asked us to photograph their wedding. It was a little bittersweet for us, only because theirs was our last wedding of the 2024 season. However, we couldn’t have hoped for a better couple with whom to finish our season, and we wish Emily and Miles all the happiness in the world!
