Please join us in congratulating Caroline and Max! These two were married on a beautiful summer afternoon at the Bar Harbor Inn, overlooking Frenchman Bay and the Porcupine Islands. Max is a photographer himself, and he and Caroline enjoy traveling to scenic locations. In fact, Max proposed to Caroline while they were on a trip to Reykjavik, Iceland. Because Caroline is from Maine, and because the Acadia region is a very picturesque place, it made perfect sense that she and Max would choose Bar Harbor for their wedding.
Caroline and Max wanted a small wedding, but it was important that they still be able to include their families and have a traditional wedding feel. To that end, the Bar Harbor Inn was a perfect choice. The Inn specializes in weddings both large and small, with a space, the Porcupine Room, dedicated to intimate receptions. Caroline and Max were married on the Inn’s lawn during a heartfelt ceremony led by Max’s mother. From there, everyone went up to the Porcupine Room for cocktails and dinner, with dancing on the deck.
We had a lot of fun spending the day with Caroline and Max. From the get-go, they were both so eager and excited to get married. We took advantage of all the Inn had to offer, taking portraits in the garden earlier with pictures on the cliffs and pier later toward sunset. We’re so glad that Caroline and Max asked us to photograph their special day, and we hope you enjoy looking through their below wedding pictures as much as we enjoyed putting them together. Ciao!
