Alexis and Jonathan’s Maine Wedding at St. Ann’s Church in Kennebunkport

Please join us in congratulating Alexis and Jonathan! These two came all the way from Florida to get married at the iconic St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, Maine. Even though we’ve had a rainy summer wedding season here in Maine, Alexis and Jonathan were blessed with the most beautiful weather. I guess that’s what happens when something is truly meant to be!

Speaking of meant to be, fate brought Alexis and Jonathan together in December of 2014. It was then that they started working together at the same company, where they quickly became good friends. From that point onward, they always had a strong connection, and eventually this connection turned into something even more special.

Alexis has been visiting the Kennebunkport area for most of her life. Growing up, she and her family would summer in Maine, and the state is like a second home to her. Knowing this, Jonathan proposed at Kennebunkport Pond, one of Alexis’s most special places. It was a magical moment shared with family, and Alexis of course said yes!

Fast forward to their wedding day, and St. Ann’s was completely packed with family and friends, all of whom had come to celebrate with Alexis and Jonathan. Their home pastor, Pastor Popp, even made the trip from Jacksonville to officiate the ceremony. It was a lovely, heartfelt service that culminated in the most wonderful of moments – the moment when Alexis and Jonathan said their vows and officially became husband and wife.

From there, we stopped at nearby Biddeford Pool for pictures before finally heading to Forge on the Falls in Saco for the wedding reception. It was such a fun party, and Laurie Andrews Design did an amazing job pulling it all together.
