Say hello to Lauren and Pete! This past summer, Matt and I traveled to Kennebunkport to photograph this cute couple. We got a beautiful afternoon for the session, and we started things off in a quiet little park on the edge of downtown. Lauren and Pete brought their puppy, Louie, along for a few pictures, and he was so well behaved!
After pictures in the park, Louie went home to take a nap while the rest of us explored downtown Kennebunkport. We had a great time checking out all the shops and enjoying the lovely summer weather. From there, we took a short ride out to Cape Porpoise Pier on Bickford Island. The pier overlooks Cape Porpoise Harbor, which is a quaint little harbor filled with fishing boats of all shapes and sizes. By the time we arrived at the pier, the sun had started to set a bit. So we went out onto one of the docks to take sunset pictures.
Lauren and Pete were such a joy to photograph, and all day long it was obvious that they absolutely love being together! These two will be getting married next September at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church followed by a reception at the Nonantum Resort, both of which are in Kennebunkport. Matt and I can’t wait!
