We had the pleasure of working with Lucia and Chris last October. They came all the way from New Jersey for a vacation in Bar Harbor. This was a special vacation because not only were they engaged, it was also their first time in Maine! To make it even more special, this was the first vacation Lucia had been on in a while (she is a nurse). They knew they wanted to schedule a portrait session to celebrate both their engagement and this special vacation. We’re so happy they decided to reach out to us.
For their engagement session they decided on the Ship Harbor Trail in Southwest Harbor. They both loved the rocky shore, water, and beautiful scenery. I can’t say that I blame them! There’s a reason why it’s one of my favorite places in all of Acadia National Park. The trail includes a lovely hike through the forest and ends with some amazing ocean views. The best part is that even in October it wasn’t busy at all.
Lucia and Chris were so much fun to work with. Even though it was a little chilly and windy the weather didn’t phase them at all. They were such naturals in front of the camera. I loved how they couldn’t stop laughing and smiling at each other! It was easy to see how much they enjoyed spending time together. We had a wonderful evening showing them around Ship Harbor and getting to know them better.
