Caroline and Steve’s Engagement Pictures in Falmouth, Maine

Say hello to Caroline and Steve! The two met three years ago, and in their free time, they enjoy traveling, playing pickleball, attending concerts, and cuddling with their fur baby, Fitzy. They got engaged one Easter morning during a planned Easter egg hunt for Fitzy. As Fitzy sniffed around, he discovered one special egg—the one with the engagement ring inside. Luckily, Fitzy didn’t mistake it for a treat, and Steve’s proposal went off without a hitch.

Caroline and Steve chose Mackworth Island State Park in Falmouth for their engagement session. With its dog-friendly trails, scenic beaches, and peaceful atmosphere, it was the perfect spot for a fall shoot with Fitzy.

The day of the engagement session was beautiful, with the fall colors at their peak. We started by capturing photos of Fitzy in his adorable bowtie with his parents. After a break for Fitzy, we focused on Caroline and Steve. They were so relaxed and fun that the session flew by! We wrapped up their engagement session as the sun set over Portland. We were thrilled to work with them again about a year later for their wedding at the Bar Harbor Inn.
