I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing Laure last summer when she and her parents traveled from Texas to vacation in Bar Harbor, Maine. A few months before their trip, Laure’s mom, Jacquelyn, reached out because Laure would be starting her senior year that fall, and they wanted to have her senior portraits taken in Acadia National Park during their visit.
With so many great spots in Acadia, we discussed what kind of setting they envisioned. After some back and forth, they chose Sand Beach and a favorite location of mine along the Ocean Path Trail, which offers stunning views of Otter Cliff.
On the day of the session, I met Laure and her parents at Sand Beach. We had a great time exploring the area and capturing a variety of portraits. Afterward, we headed to our second location near Otter Cliff for a change of scenery.
Laure was a joy to work with, enthusiastic, open to ideas, and even willing to climb up on some large rocks to get a unique angle. I truly enjoyed photographing her and wish her all the best as she graduates this May.
Below are a few of my favorite shots from her senior portrait session in Acadia National Park. Enjoy!
