Meet the R. family! Shannon reached out to us months before her family’s trip to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. With Father’s Day approaching, she wanted to surprise her husband, Josh, with a family portrait session while they were visiting in October. To make it even more special, their son, Milo, would be turning one during their time in Maine. It was the perfect opportunity for a memorable family session.
We discussed various scenic spots in Acadia National Park, and Shannon decided on Jordan Pond. This location offers a variety of lovely backdrops and is perfect for sessions with young children, as there are plenty of places for them to explore or sit down.
On the day of their session, the weather was perfect. The sun was shining, and the fall colors were almost at their peak. Shannon and her family were an absolute joy to photograph. They laughed, cuddled, and enjoyed every moment. Milo, after a little time to warm up, gave us the sweetest smiles (just wait until you see them in the photos below).
