Last year Kelly reached out about doing a portrait session for her family. While her family vacations in the Bar Harbor area every year, 2018 would be the first year they would be a family of four, and Kelly really wanted to have this special vacation captured.
Kelly chose Jordan Pond in Acadia National Park for their family portrait session. We agreed this was a great option for her young family because not only does Jordan offer lots of great backdrop options, it’s also a nice place to let kids run around (which is definitely a requirement when working with young children).
We enjoyed working with Kelly and her family. As we do with many young families, their portrait session was a combination of formal and candid portraits. That gave their son Paul a chance to run around and explore between more formal pictures. It was also a perfect time for Matt and I to get some cute candids of him. We were very impressed with how well the kids did since they were both under the age of three!
