I first met Hannah in May. She reached out to us because her parents were going to be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary in August and she wanted to do something special for them. It just so happened that the whole family was going to be in Bar Harbor to celebrate, so they thought an extended family portrait session would be the perfect gift for their parents.
They really wanted a sandy beach option for their family session, so we suggested a couple of options. They decided on Seal Harbor Beach in Seal Harbor. Unlike Sand Beach, which can be quite busy during the summer months, Seal Harbor Beach would give them the quiet atmosphere they were looking for. They also added Little Long Pond as their second location, because it was right down the road and it would give them a completely different look from their beach photos.
We had a lovely evening for their portrait session. After spending time at Little Long Pond, we then headed down the road for sunset photos on the beach. We had such a great time working with this fun family! We’re so glad they reached out and we had a chance to be a part of such a special gift and anniversary.
I’ve included a few of our favorites photos from our time together below. Enjoy!
